Teaching

I have experience co-teaching Introduction to Child Psychology at the University of Minnesota’s Institute of Child Development. The course unexpectedly switched from a traditional in-person format to virtual midway through due to the COVID-19 pandemic. My co-instructors and I were tasked with transforming all course materials to an online format with very short notice. It was a learning experience in course preparation and teaching and also challenged us to create an inclusive, flexible, and compassionate virtual learning environment that met the needs of a time of unprecedented uncertainty and and stress.

I look forwarded to an invited guest lecture in this semester’s Introduction to Child Psychology to discuss dynamic systems approaches and early self-regulation.
